Incorporating traditional Tai Chi with Western Physiotherapeutic exercise principles

On-demand Physio-Chi classes for health providers, educators, and individuals – accessible anywhere, anytime.

About Physio-Chi

Developed by physiotherapist Moh Tapper, Physio-Chi is a modified form of Tai Chi designed for safe, evidence-based rehabilitation. In 2019, long-time Tai Chi practitioner and physiotherapist Jenny Lucy became the owner of Physio-Chi, bringing over 30 years of clinical and teaching experience to the method.

Now delivered entirely online, Physio-Chi continues to support health professionals, educators, and individuals with accessible, therapeutic movement programs that promote strength, balance, and wellbeing.

A Glimpse into the Practice

“Flowering Lotus” offers a gentle glimpse into the Physio-Chi experience. It showcases the slow, flowing movements that form the foundation of each session and introduces some of the language used throughout the program. You’ll also hear Jenny’s calm, therapeutic guidance — a hallmark of every class — designed to help you achieve the meditative, restorative benefits of movement.

This short practice beautifully demonstrates how simple, mindful motion can be adapted for any ability, helping you reconnect with your body and begin to move with ease.

Watch on Your TV – Physio-Chi

Watch Physio-Chi on Your TV

Enjoy your classes on the big screen — it's easier than you think!
Select your device below for simple step-by-step instructions.

Watch directly on your Smart TV

Works with Samsung, LG, Sony, Hisense, and most modern Smart TVs — no phone or cable needed.

  • 1Press the Home button on your TV remote to go to the main menu.
  • 2Look for an app called Internet, Browser, or Web Browser and open it.
  • 3Type in physio-chi.com using your remote or TV keyboard.
  • 4Log in to your Online Studio account and find the class you'd like to do.
  • 5Press play and enjoy your practice on the big screen!
Not sure if your TV is a Smart TV? If your TV connects to the internet or has apps like Netflix or YouTube built in, it's a Smart TV and this method will work.

iPhone or iPad — AirPlay

Works with Apple TV, or any TV with AirPlay built in (many Samsung, LG, and Sony TVs from 2019 onwards).

  • 1Make sure your iPhone or iPad and your TV are connected to the same WiFi network at home.
  • 2Open Safari on your iPhone or iPad, go to physio-chi.com, log in, and start your class.
  • 3Look for the AirPlay icon in the video player — it looks like a rectangle with a small triangle at the bottom. Tap it.
  • 4A list will appear — select your TV from the list.
  • 5The video will now play on your TV. Use your iPhone or iPad to pause, play, or adjust the volume.
Can't see the AirPlay icon? Try swiping down from the top-right corner of your iPhone screen to open Control Centre, then tap Screen Mirroring and choose your TV from the list.

Android or Samsung phone or tablet — Cast

Works with Chromecast, Google TV, or any TV with Chromecast built in. Samsung devices can also use Smart View.

  • 1Make sure your phone or tablet and your TV are connected to the same WiFi network at home.
  • 2Open Google Chrome on your Android phone or tablet, go to physio-chi.com, log in, and start your class.
  • 3Look for the Cast icon in the video player, or tap the three dots (top right) in Chrome and select Cast. The Cast icon looks like a small screen with WiFi waves in the bottom-left corner. Tap it.
  • 4Select your TV from the list that appears.
  • 5The video will play on your TV. Use your phone or tablet to pause, play, or go back.
Samsung users: You can also swipe down from the top of your screen to open Quick Settings and tap Smart View or Screen Mirror to cast your whole screen to your Samsung TV.

Connect with an HDMI cable

A simple, reliable option that works with laptops, and phones or tablets with the right adapter.

  • 1Plug one end of your HDMI cable into your laptop, phone, or tablet. Phones and tablets usually need a small adapter — a USB-C to HDMI or Lightning to HDMI adapter, available at most electronics stores for around $15–$30.
  • 2Plug the other end into one of the HDMI ports on the back or side of your TV.
  • 3Use your TV remote to change the Input or Source to the correct HDMI port — for example, HDMI 1 or HDMI 2.
  • 4On your device, open your browser, go to physio-chi.com, log in, and select your class.
  • 5Press play — your class will appear on the TV screen. Use your device to control playback.
Tip: HDMI is the most straightforward option if you're not comfortable with wireless streaming. Once plugged in, it just works — no WiFi or settings required.

Laptop or Desktop Computer

Watch in your browser, then mirror to your TV with an HDMI cable or wirelessly.

  • 1Open any web browser on your computer — Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox — and go to physio-chi.com. Log in to your Online Studio account.
  • 2To watch on your computer screen only: simply press play and enjoy. Consider propping your laptop up where you can see it comfortably while you move.
  • 3To watch on your TV via HDMI: plug an HDMI cable from your laptop into your TV's HDMI port, then use your TV remote to switch the Input or Source to HDMI.
  • 4On your computer, right-click the desktop and select Display Settings (Windows) or go to System Preferences → Displays (Mac). Choose Mirror Display so your TV shows the same thing as your screen.
  • 5Press play on physio-chi.com — your class will show on the TV.
Windows shortcut: Press Windows key + P on your keyboard and select "Duplicate" to quickly mirror your screen to your TV.
